- Digital
- 600 × 600 px
- Background
- Plain white or off-white, no shadows or patterns.
- Head size
- 1 – 1⅜ in (25 – 35 mm) from chin to top of head.
- Face position
- Face centered, looking directly at the camera. Eyes 1⅛ – 1⅜ in from bottom.
- Expression
- Neutral expression, mouth closed, both eyes open.
- Glasses
- Not allowed, except with a signed medical statement.
- Head covering
- Not permitted unless worn daily for religious or medical reasons; face must be fully visible.
- Image quality
- Sharp focus, no blur, pixelation, filters or red-eye. Even lighting.
